Job Search Techniques:
Whether you are working or not, true Leaders are always on the job hunt.  Separating yourself as the candidate that deserves the job or the next promotion in your department is a daily exercise for leaders and requires an individual committed strategy.  From understanding technical tools, personal branding and keen participation in organization agility, leaders understand how all these pieces work together to influence decision makers that you are the right person for the job.  Our agency consistently stays on top of the newest trends in recruiting strategies and personal branding.  When you blend this knowledge with our other critical success factors, you get a wining combination of leadership development.

Personal Competencies:
Competencies are the tools in your individual toolbox. They impact the way you do your work alone or with others, and are the qualities and skills sets people measure you against the most, at work and in the community.  As the workplace and businesses change, the use of certain personal competencies can shift, evolve, diminish or peak.  The effective use of your time, the spiked demand for innovation, the evolution of project management are all examples of how your personal competencies must ebb and flow throughout the growth of your career path.

HR Basics:
Understanding basic principles of human resources management are a critical component to moving along on your career path.  Understanding how to lead people and drive strategic Human Resources initiatives are an essential part of being a leader. From understanding how to motivate others, to understanding the stakes around workplace safety, these skills and topics are just a few in a myriad of topics that work together to impact the success of your company or your individual career.

Diversity & Inclusion:
Smart Hispanic leaders impact their organization's long term plans by leveraging diversity and inclusion business practices every day.  They know that these business initiatives are designed to open opportunities and create paths for innovation and influence.  As the Latino consumer becomes ever so important; Latinos must take the helm at building the business strategies that connect organizations to the Hispanic consumer.  Diversity and Inclusion business strategies are an integral component to establishing and facilitating the framework to those strategies.  Latino leaders who can articulate the theory and practice of such strategies are well positioned to help their organizations take on the global market place.

Financial Literacy:
When it comes to financial literacy, The H.I.L.L. is focused on two distinct topics, personal financial literacy and corporate financial literacy. Our goal is to help Latinos become proficient in managing their own financial destiny as well as their organization's financial destiny.  We know that employees, who are worry free about financial problems at home, can be more productive at work.  Regarding corporate financial literacy, we focus on helping Hispanics be corporate stewards in managing and impacting profitability. Understanding corporate finances ultimately drives personal success at work and at home.

Organizational Agility:
Influencing without authority, being identified as a high potential, or volunteering for stretch assignments, are all in line to a path of success and prosperity in corporate America.  At The H.I.L.L., we teach Latinos the protocol to healthy career paths and the fundamentals to positioning oneself to benefit from this knowledge.
